Mobile Key, also known as a digital key, is the technology that allows guests to open accommodation doors themselves. Using their own smartphone, instead of the traditional physical key.
Over the past few months, we have been working hard to integrate mobile keys into the Great Stay App. Currently, our partners are SALTO Systems & C.A.T control systems.
There are many advantages to this collaboration. For us, it is important to integrate as many technologies as possible within our app. This keeps us at the forefront of the leisure app market. These collaborations with partners allow accommodations to communicate much more easily. In addition, the Great Stay App is a development that connects all your systems instead of an additional CMS.
Mobile keys also offer several advantages over traditional keys. Including security and convenience, as physical keys are no longer needed. Security is further emphasised because encryption can be deactivated remotely and you have the ability to manage access rights digitally. Add to that less pressure at reception and all the benefits of self-checkin, and you can see why they have become increasingly popular in the leisure industry in recent years.
